The 235 meters high Torre BBVA bancomer will become, later this year, the tallest building in Mexico. It is a project designed by legorreta +legorreta architects and roger stirk harbour+partners.
The 50-storey tower will offer approximately 78,600 square meters of prime office space for BBVA bancomer and will host approximately 4,500 employees.
The building is located on paseo de la reforma, one of the most important streets in the Mexican capital. In order to take advantage of the spectacular 360° views, the architecture will include the design of sky gardens every ninth floor that will serve as an outdoor space for meeting and interaction between staff.
Each façade will be protected from sunlight and heat through a lattice design, which, at the same time, will allow the natural light to penetrate the indoor space.
The entire office area will have access to great views and to the external triple-height gardens. The common areas for employees such as the cafeteria and an auditorium will offer the perfect environment for strong interaction and will help create a sense of community among the employees.
