Chinese artists draw attention every time they design a building. A hotel featuring 320 rooms, adorned with 20.000 Swarovski crystals, was opened in Huzhou, in the Chinese province Zhejiang.
The hotel, inaugurated under the famous American brand Sheraton, is open for the public, but all the facilities will be available by the end of September, this year. The accommodation seems to be one of the strangest buildings opened this year.
The hotel construction is estimated at $1.5 billion.
The Sheraton Huzhou Hot Springs Resort was developed by the famous Chinese architect Ma Yansong and all the 27 floors form a unit shaped as a ring.
The unit is 100 meters high, 116 meters wide, with an area of 95,000 square meters, and the hotel lobby is adorned with over 20.000 Swarovski crystals.
The floor is paved with African jade and Brazilian tiger eye stone.
The hotel features 321 rooms, including 40 apartments, 37 villas and presidential suites.
One night accommodation starts at $395.
