Pariss Two-Seater Electric Roadster Made in France
After announcing the intentions of producing an electric roadster at the Paris Motor Show 2012, Pariss officials return with more concrete data about the future electric convertible car.
Regarding its appearance, the future roadster will be a pretty nice car and it will be an interesting competitor for Mazda MX-5, for example.
First, there are two electric motors, one for each deck, so it will be an all – wheel drive roadster. The total power supplied by these engines reaches 245 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm.
Even more interesting is that due to the monocoque chassis of carbon fiber , but also because of the body panels made of composite materials, the total mass of the car will be about 800 kg, which is a true performance for an electric car.
Therefore, we should not be surprised about the performances: 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 200 km/h, for protecting the batteries, which are fully charged within 5 hours at a 220V outlet, but also ensure a low center of gravity, which promises a great handling of the 3.6 meters long roadster.
The maximum autonomy of the car is around 200 km, but those interested can opt for a range-extender, meaning a small thermal engine, powered by biofuel, which should increase the maximum autonomy to an attractive value of 700 km.
The price for the future electric roadster Pariss will not be small: 80,000 Euro. The price includes expensive materials (Alcantara seat inserts, or rare wood inserts) and also an infotainment system with 4G connection.
