Opulent Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel Ivoire Unveiled in West Africa
Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel is a stunning building recently unveiled in West Africa. It is located in the wealthy Cocody district and blends French luxury with African culture.
This incredibly beautiful five-star hotel rises over an idyllic setting of water and flora, overlooking the Ebrie lagoon and the Plateau.
This luxury hotel boasts 209 rooms, including two presidential suites and 40 junior suites, and was built by the architect Moshe Mayer in 1963, being restructured in 2011 and reopened under the Sofitel name in 2014.
The great attention to details can be seen in every single room of this hotel, the lobby being more than just a reception; it’s a vivid space with a mix of materials, colors and styles that plunges you into the heart of Abidjan.
Sofitel Abidjan Hôtel also features two restaurants: Toit d’Abidjan that offers a 180° view of Abidjan and the Ebrie Lagoon, and La Gourmandise, the place where the poetry of Africa meets the flavor of the French cuisine.
