The Canary Islands is one of the greatest places in the world where you can best observe the sky. As a proof for that stands one of the biggest astronomical observatory in the world, Gran Telescopio Canarias, situated on a mountain from the archipelago. The photographer Daniel Lopez took photos of the sky for a year, in the way it can be seen from 2000 meters over the Atlantic. The result is more than spectacular.
The film consists in hundreds of individual images, captured within seconds (or fractions of a second) one from each other, and were made with the help of a Canon EOS 7D.
