In order to mark the fulfillment of 5 decades since the launch of the very first James Bond 007 Goldfinger movie, Swiss watchmaker Omega created a luxurious Seamaster timepiece made out of 18-carat yellow gold. The piece is based on the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial model, which means that it flaunts a 38.5 mm 18K yellow gold case as well as a golden bracelet. The hands are made out of the same lavish material and feature a Super-LumiNova treatment that is meant to ensure improved readability in poor lighting conditions.
Strengthening the link between James Bond and Omega, this unique product boasts a 007 counterweight on the seconds hand. Furthermore, the piece comes in an elegantly designed box that resembles the Fort Knox Bullion Depository building.
The special edition watch was sold for charity on September 17, 2014 for the sum of approximately $113,000.
