Two architects of Romanian origin, Catalin Sandu and Adrian Iancu, have completed for treehugger.com, the project of a multifunctional house, which is really outstanding. In a pretty small apartment located in the historic area of the Soho district in New York, of only 30 square meters, they have achieved a rearrangement plan that offers the possibility of organizing a sit down dinner for up to 12 people.
The project “One Size Fits All” involved the construction of multifunctional furniture that transforms the flat into a ventilated space.
The house becomes, in just seconds, from a dining room with table for 12 people, a bedroom with two rooms.
Thus, the apartment has a living room, a dining room, an office, an office for visitors, a guest room, a bedroom and a guest bedroom.
If we include the kitchen, the bathroom and the “meditation space”, we have a total of 10 possible rooms. It’s absolutely remarkable!
The apartment nicknamed LifeEdited began to be modified in 2010 and was completed in 2012. Considering the materials and the unique solutions, the costs for this house exceed $10,000, for sure.
The following video presenting the apartment, gathered over 2 million views on Youtube.
