MIT CityHome – A Gesture-Controlled Home in a Box

27 May 2014 by admin

CityHome is a project developed by MIT Media Labs and is actually a house in a box. This invention is the size of a closet and hosts a bed, a dining room table, kitchen surface, cooking range, closet and storage container. All these elements can be called forth or retracted with just a simple voice command. And that is not all because once it is installed, the module can move several feet in any direction, extending or compacting a room at will.
