Beauty can be expressed through millions of ways. Art is one of the most beautiful options to present the amazing side of nature modeled by the skilled hands of man. A perfect example of this complex artistic process is the “Imaginary Worlds” mosaiculture exhibition at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Here are found massive green structure that begin with a steel frame of some sort covered with steel mesh, which is then coated with sphagnum moss and soil seeded with all sorts of plants.
A network of irrigation channels is hidden underneath the mesh in order to supply water to the plants on the surface.
Many of these structure that are always green and fresh mimic people and animals, the largest of them all being Earth Goddess, which is 25 feet tall and is a permanent piece at the garden.
