Cobra Electronics, a company known especially for radar detectors sold widely around the world, announced at CES, Las Vegas, the launch of a gadget that comes to solve a big problem faced by almost all drivers, especially now, in winter, when many of them run out of battery at their car and they cannot start it anymore. Whether is not working because of the cold or because it has exceeded its lifetime of 4-5 years, the battery can be replaced easily with a starter the size of a phone.
Connected to the battery, it will provide the necessary current to start the engine. Cobra JumPack has a capacity of 7,500 mAh and distributes 200 amps, so it can be used by most drivers.
The gadget gets to stay plugged only for three hours, and besides its basic function of starter, it can be used as a flashlight and charger for your phone or tablet.
JumPack Cobra will hit stores in March and will be priced at $130.
