Inside the CitizenM Rotterdam Hotel, which can be found close to Blaak Station in Rotterdam’s old port, you can find wall-to-wall beds, rain showers and tablet “mood pads”.
This special project was designed by concrete, which along with its founder Rob Wagemans has built a home for all those “mobile citizens of the world”.
Its eccentric design is embellished by a luxury environment dominated by the black and red color scheme alongside daring architectural elements such as the timber helical staircase created by EeStairs.
The bedrooms are quite comfortable and intimate, offering the guests the chanse of recharging their batteries after a long day at work or of recuperating work in a tranquil space. The wall-to-wall, super-king size bed, the flat screen TV and the table that doubles as a desk, recreate the comfort of the guest’s own bedroom at home.
People that choose to stay here can also control the entire room with the help of a touch screen mood pad, from the curtains to the light.
The bathroom is a one of a kind room, its special “thing” being the translucent ceiling lights that can be set to any color.
