Beautiful Azaleas of Shiofune Kannon-ji Temple in Japan
A 1,300-year-old Buddhist temple located in Ome City, Japan is protected by hills covered by azalea bushes. Shiofune Kannon-ji is the temple that amazes because of the hills surrounding it that ablaze with color when the 20,000 azalea bushes are in full bloom. Between April and May, anyone who decides to visit the place will feel like heaven descended on earth.
These hills are home to some 3,000 azalea plants, 100 varieties in total, including the black karafune flower.
