A Giant Among Dinosaurs Discovered in Argentina

Researchers in paleontology from Argentina announced the discovery of the largest dinosaur ever. Titanosaurus was 40 meters long, 20 meters tall and weighed 77 tons (the equivalent of 14 elephants).

BBC reports that the dimensions were established after the paleontologists found, in a hole, the remains of this giant.

“Given the size of these bones, which surpass any of the previously known giant animals, the new dinosaur is the largest animal known that walked on Earth,” the researchers told BBC News.
