The oases in the desert are like stars in the sky, those structures that are actually a plus of beauty and charm. Here are three of the most spectacular oases around the globe:
Ziz Oasis, Sahara Desert, Morocco
It is no longer a mystery the fact that Sahara Desert is an infinite expanse of sand, the place that hinders the development of a normal life. Yet, there are certain places that make the Sahara Desert a more accessible and not so dry area, and one of them is the Ziz oasis, a famous tourist attraction for visitors who want to see new places. Hundreds of years ago, when Moroccan river began to dry, it gave birth to a beautiful oasis that today bears the name of Ziz. This beautiful valley is located between Rich and Merzouga, being today a region that amazes tourists from around the world.
Huacachina –The Oasis of America
Huacachina is a natural oasis that is found in Peru, in the southwest area, being recognized as the Oasis of America. Huacachina has the form of a lake, being the place where 115 people live a tranquil life. Every year, more and more tourists visit this oasis in Peru, remaining amazed by the strength and the talent of nature.
The inhabitants are ready to reveal the secrets of the place and the legend that has been transmitted orally from generation to generation. It is said that a beautiful princess used to bathe in the small lagoon in the area, until one day, when a hunter bothered her and she left the place. Immediately, after her departure, the Huacachina oasis appeared.
Crescent Lake-Natural Wonder in the Gobi Desert
Sahara hides many wonders, one of them being Crescent Lake in the Gobi Desert. Crescent Lake is an amazing lake in the Sahara Desert, located 6 km south of the Dunhuang city, in China. Often, the water level drops dramatically because of the need of drinking water used especially in agriculture and rare and low precipitation. Crescent Lake is a true oasis, a structure without which Sahara Desert would not be the same.
