2015 Ford Mustang –The Smashing SuperCar Shows Its Face in Public
2015 Mustang will definitely make a big impression, but after Ford will make the changes they plan to. A more dynamic figure is previewed by the Evos concept. The prototype has been heavily camouflaged but when it came time for hot-weather testing, a lot of the shape-obscurity body cladding was gone.
Despite the fact that the Ford engineers did a very good job in covering up the Mustang, we still managed to take a peek into the cabin of one of the mules that revealed a deeply-scalloped three-spoke steering wheel and one of the most heavily-bolstered seats ever made. Also, the pictures show us that Mustang will also get a power driver’s seat backrest.
In the following video you will have the chance of seeing the new Mustang in action and hear its V8 engine for the first time.
The 2015 Mustang will likely continue to use the 3.7-liter V6, with a turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost with 350 horsepower. The hood of the Mustang 2015 will house a 0.5L Coyote V8 and the power will grow from 420 horsepower to 450 horsepower.
Rumors suggest that Ford will put the 2015 Mustang on a diet with the goal of dropping 400 lbs. from the current car’s curb weight.
Also, the most potent form of the pony car will feature a naturally-aspired V8 in place of the current Shelby GT500’s supercharged bend-eight.
The supercar will first debut with six-speed transmissions but a 10-speed automatic co-development with GM will eventually be offered.
