The history is about to be rewritten with Bugatti’s mythical World Record Car. The famous manufacturer is all set to celebrate its “stars” by releasing six special Legend Editions of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, which bears the name of six key features from the Bugatti annals, which had a huge contribution in creating history. Jean-Pierre Wimille is the one who earned two victories for Bugatti at the Le Mans (one in 1937 in a 57G Tank and another one in 1939 in a 57C Tank), and was chosen as the first Legend of the spectacular edition “Les Légendes de Bugatti”.
The design of The Bugatti Legend “Jean Pierre Wimille” is inspired by the 1937 blue 57G Tank. Only three models will be produced and will feature blue clear-coated carbon fiber bodywork and a light Wimple Blue paintwork finish, while the interior design will include the same color scheme.
The Bugatti Legend “Jean Pierre Wimille” will be shown at The Quail on August 16 and The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 18, followed by its world debut at the Monterrey Auto Week in California.
